If you're using a directional antenna, it may be useful to have a chart handy showing the
directions to several locations on the world. For this you may use the beam heading &
distance charts offered here, which are available in three different forms: |
|
 |
A distance chart which shows the angles in degrees for your beam to point to and
- optional - the distances in kilometers or miles for 2664 geographical positions on earth.
The charts are in RTF format and will print on two or four DIN A4
pages in landscape orientation.
For better readability, the beam heading chart is divided in two parts, one for eastern
and one for western longitudes. In horizontal direction each chart shows the longitude
from 0 to 180 degrees and in vertical direction the latitude from 90 degrees north down to
90 degrees south both in 5 degree steps, giving 1379 individually computed points on each
page. The optional distance charts shows the distance in kilometers or miles using the same grid on
two additional pages. |
 |
A complete 30 pages document in RTF format containing the distances and beam
headings for about 3400 towns and locations worldwide, including 1870 from the USA. |
